This medicine is not used for common flu and cold symptoms. And not treated for viral infections. This medicine is commonly prescribed for coughs and colds caused by bacterial and parasitic infections.
This medication is not recommended if you have allergic symptoms such as skin rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing, or if you have liver or kidney disease, QT prolongation, myasthenia gravis, or gastrointestinal disease.
