ORIGIN AND SOURCE OF FENUGREEK SEEDS

It is originated from Western Asia and southeastern Europe in north Africa. It is widely distributed in India and other neighboring countries in northern Asia, western Asia, Ethiopia, Chile, Argentina, China, and the USA. In Europe, it grows in Austria, Belgium, France, Hungary, and Spain. It grows in soil with Ph ranging from 5.3 to 8.2. It grows in an annual temperature range from 8-27C. The leaves consist of three small obovate. These leave are 30-60cm long. Pods of these leaves contain 10-20 small brown seeds.
