Adfrar 40mg Injection contains Adalimumab 40mg which is an antirheumatic agent belongs to the class of medication called a Tumor necrosis factor inhibitor (TNF) used to treat a variety of conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, ulcerative colitis, psoriatic arthritis, hidradenitis suppurativa, uventia, and chronic plaque psoriasis and Crohn's disease. It produces its action by inhibiting certain chemical messenger which is associated with swelling, pain, and redness. It also improves physical function.It is used to relieve the symptoms of certain auto immune disorders when used alone or with other medications.

Systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis:

It is also known as juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. It is usually seen in children who are below the age of 16. It occurs when our body’s system attacks its tissue. Symptoms include pain, swelling, stiffness, and swollen lymph nodes.Adfrar 40mg injections reduce the swelling,stiffness,pain and slow down the progression of bone and joint damages.

Psoriatic arthritis:

It is a type of inflammatory arthritis that usually occurs in a patient who already has a skin condition called psoriasis. It is an autoimmune condition it occurs when your body’s immune system mistakenly attacks your healthy tissues. Crohn’s disease:

It is also known as ileitis. It is a type of inflammatory disease that causes inflammation in your digestive tract. Symptoms include abdominal cramps, fever, loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, blood in stool, and diarrhea.Adfrar 40mg injection target and block the inflammation source which causing the mild to moderate and severe Crohn’s disease.This medicine help more adult patient to achieve and maintain remission.

Ankylosing spondylitis:

It is also known as Bechterew’s disease. It is a type of arthritis that causes pain in your spine. Is not clear the specific cause of this disease. Hidradentitis Suppurativa:

It is also known as acne inversa. It causes painful lumps under your skin, and in some sweat glands. The exact cause of this disease is not clear but it may also occur in patients who are smoking and obese. Symptoms include lumps under the groin, underarms, upper thighs, breasts, buttocks, and folds under the stomach.Adfrar 40mg Injection acts by target and block the TNF – Alpha to reduce and  decrease the excessive inflammatory thought to contribute to HS symptoms.

Uveitis:

It is also known as chorioretinitis. It occurs due to inflammation in the middle layer of the eye called the uvea. It is usually caused by infection, injury, or by autoimmune diseases. Symptoms include pain in your eyes, sensitivity to light, blurred vision, dark spots in your vision, and redness in your skin.Adfrar 40mg injection reduce the inflammation by binds to the protein called  TNF-Alpha,their inflammatory level is more in Uveitis conditions.

The Adfrar 40mg Injection is prescribed for the following indications such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, hidradenitis suppurativa, uventia, and chronic plaque psoriasis

Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Adalimumab

• Upper respiratory tract infection
• Increased creatine phosphokinase
• Sinusitis
• Urinary tract infection
• Abdominal pain
• Hyperlipidemia
• Hypercholesterolemia
• Hypertension
• Increases alkaline phosphatase

• Can I take an Adfrar 40mg Injectioninjection if I have liver problems?

Before initiating the treatment inform your doctor if you have liver problems. Because the tablet can be given to patients with mild to moderate liver problems, it should be given to patients with severe hepatic impairment.

• Can Adfrar 40mg Injectioninjection cause cancer?

The use of this drug may increase the chances of developing certain cancers by affecting the immune system. Kindly inform your doctor before initiating the treatment.

Adfrar 40mg injections is used only in the presence of a physician.This medicine must be given subcutaneously in the arm, thigh, or stomach area.

After therapy has been initiated, do not take more or less of the Adalimumab drug than prescribed or stop taking it without your physicians’ approval. Skipping or changing the Adalimumab dose without approval may cause adverse effects making the condition more difficult to treat, or worsen side effects.

• Co-administration with interleukin-1 blockers may lead to serious infection and neutropenia
• The use of this medicine increases the risk of serious infection including tuberculosis, hepatitis B virus, and demyelinating disorders
• Increased risk of lymphoma and other cancer reported in children
• Infection and malignancy were reported in elderly patients

• You are not responding to the treatment
• You have experienced any allergic reactions like rashes and itching
• You have a receiving any concomitant medication and disease
• You develop shortness of breath

Adfrar 40mg injecdtion given subcutaneously. It must be used at room temperature. It should be administered on the arm, thigh, or abdomen. Do not store after a single-use.

Drug-Drug Interaction

Abatacept + Adalimumab

The use of this drug is contraindicated because the combination of this drug may cause unspecified interaction mechanisms.

Anthrax vaccine + Adalimumab

The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of adalimumab decreases the effect of the anthrax vaccine by pharmacodynamic antagonism. The use of this drug increases the risk of infection.

Rabies vaccine + Adalimumab

The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of adalimumab decreases the effect of the rabies vaccine by pharmacodynamic antagonism. The use of immunosuppressants may interfere with the development of immunity.

Adalimumab + Adalimumab

Use alternative drugs because the combination of these drugs may increase the immunosuppressive effects and also increase the risk of infections.

Etanercept + Adalimumab

Use alternative drug because the combination of these drugs either increase the effect of the other by pharmacodynamic synergism and also increase the risk of serious infections.

Oxaliplatin + Adalimumab

The use of oxaliplatin with immunosuppressants may increase the risk of serious infection.

Drug-Disease Interaction

GI perforation:

Therapy should be administered with caution in patients with an increased risk of gastrointestinal perforation.  Before initiating the treatment monitor the patient with a history of gastrointestinal perforation

Hepatic disorder:        

Adalimumab has not been studied in a patient with severe hepatic impairment and the use of this drug has been associated with an increased risk of liver enzyme elevation. So the use of this drug is not recommended in patients with hepatic impairment. Frequently monitor the patient's liver function tests.

Infections:

Serious bacterial, mycobacterial, fungal, viral, and other possible infections have been reported in patients who are all receiving adalimumab. Before initiating the treatment it is recommended to avoid the use of this drug in patients with an active and serious infection.

Renal disease:

Patients with moderate and severe renal impairment had greater adalimumab in blood levels. No dose adjustment of adalimumab is necessary for patients with mild renal impairment.

Take the medicine as directed by the doctor don’t overdose on the medicine. If you have taken an overdose on this medicine immediately meet the doctor and rush to the nearby hospital.

Take the medicine as directed by the doctor. Do not skip the medicine, if you forgot to take the medicine or missed the dose. It is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Don’t take the extra dose take the regular dose immediately. Don’t use the two-dose at one time (Double Dose).
