Adsunib 12.5 Capsule contains Sunitinib 12.5 used to treat cancers of the stomach, intestines, esophagus, pancreas, or kidneys. It works by inhibiting the activity of an abnormal protein that signals the cancer cells to multiply and it also helps to stop the growth of cancer cells. It is not recommended for children.

It produces its action by inhibiting tyrosine present in receptors like platelet-derived growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, stem cell factor, colony stem cell factor that mediates the signaling required for proliferation. It inhibits the phosphorylation of kinase present in receptors thus signaling processes required for angiogenesis and proliferation of abnormal cells are inhibited. This shrinks the abnormal cells and minimizes metastasis thus treating and controlling cancers.

It is contraindicated to use this medicine because the use of lefamulin will increase the effect of sunitinib by affecting its hepatic and intestinal enzyme metabolism.

Afatinib
