Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat bacterial infection by preventing the bacteria from reproduction and repairing themselves. Mainly bacterial infection targets the nose, throat, lungs, skin and soft tissues, bone and joints, genitals and urinary tract.

This medicine is not used for common flu and cold symptoms. And not treat viral infections. This medicine is commonly prescribed for cough and colds caused by bacterial infections.
