Bosutris 400mg Tablet contains Bosutinib 400mg used to treat blood cancer known as chronic myeloid leukemia. Bosutinib helps to inhibit the growth and multiplication of cancer cells and reduce the progression of the diseases. This medication is recommended only for adults.

Chronic myeloid leukemia
It is also called chronic myelogenous leukemia. This cancer occurs in the bone marrow and causes an increase in white blood cells. It occurs due to genetic changes in the stem cells which are produced by the bone marrow. Symptoms include easy bleeding, fever, weight loss, loss of appetite, night sweats, fatigue, and bone pain.

Bosutris 400mg Tablet contains Bosutinib 400mg is an anti-cancer medication called tyrosine kinase inhibitor it produces its action by targeting several tyrosine kinase proteins of Bcr-Abl and Src family which is required for angiogenesis and increases apoptosis function. Bosutinib inhibits signals of angiogenesis and decreases the size of the tumor by starvation and increases apoptosis function.

Drug Interaction of Bosutris 400mg Tablet
Drug-Drug Interaction
Lefamulin
The use of this medicine is contraindicated because the use of lefamulin will increase the effect of bosutinib by affecting its hepatic and intestinal enzymes.
Atorvastatin
Use alternative drugs because the use of atorvastatin increases the effect of bosutinib by P-glycoprotein efflux transporter.
Famotidine
Use alternative drugs because the use of famotidine will decrease the effect of bosutinib by increasing its gastric Ph.
Oxaliplatin
Therapy should be administered with caution because the combination of this medicine increases the immunosuppressive effect and it also increases the risk of developing infections
Drug-Food Interaction
Bosutinib 400mg should be taken on an empty stomach one hour before the meal or 2 hours after the meal. You should also avoid grapefruit juice while you are receiving this medicine it may increase the Bosutinib 400mg in blood levels.

Fluid retention
Therapy should be administered with caution in patients with fluid retention and congestive heart failure because fluid retention occurs with BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase inhibitors.
Bone marrow suppression
Therapy should be administered with caution in patients with bone marrow suppression because the use of BCR-ABL tyrosine inhibitors may cause thrombocytopenia, aplastic anemia, agranulocytosis, and neutropenia.
Liver diseases
Therapy should be administered with caution in patients who are having hepatic impairment because the use of this medicine may cause transaminase elevation
Over Dose
