The Bromolin 250mg/8mg Tablet DT contains Amoxicillin (250mg) and Bromhexine (8mg) used to treat bacterial infections such as Respiratory tract infections, Tonsillitis/Pharyngitis. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. Mainly bacterial infection targets the respiratory tract, lungs, nose, and throat. Bromhexine s a mucolytic agent which helps to loosen the mucus and make the cough out. This combination is used to fight against the bacteria and it also thins the mucus for cough easily. This medicine is not used for common flu and cold symptoms that occur due to viral infections. This medicine is commonly prescribed for cough and colds caused by bacterial infections.

It is used in the treatment of the following conditions as Respiratory tract infections, Tonsillitis/Pharyngitis

Bacterial infections:

Diabetes:

Hemodialysis:

During Hemodialysis penicillin antibiotics get removed from the body. So doses should be rescheduled after the dialysis process

Mononucleosis:

Amoxicillin should not be used in patients with mononucleosis because they develop pruritic erythematous maculopapular skin rash which occurs after 5-10 days of therapy
