    Cefglobe 100mg/500mg Tablet contains Cefixime 100mg and Dicloxacillin 500mg used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infection, Tonsillitis/pharyngitis, Bronchitis, Respiratory tract infection, Otitis media, Bone and joint infection, and Gonorrhoea. Cefixime 100mg and Dicloxacillin 500mg is an antibiotic used to treat infections. Mainly bacterial infection targets the ear, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. The combination of this medicine helps to prevent the growth of bacteria. This medicine is not used for common flu and cold symptoms that occur due to viral infections. This medicine is commonly prescribed for cough and colds caused by bacterial infections.

    Drug-Drug Interaction

    BCG vaccine live                            

    The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of medicine decreases the effect of the BCG vaccine live by pharmacodynamic antagonism

    Cholera vaccine

    Use alternative drugs, because the use of the cholera vaccine with antibiotics may activate the vaccine strain. So, avoid receiving this combination of medicines before 14 days of vaccination

    Estradiol

    Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of cefixime will decrease the effect of estradiol by altering the intestinal flora and it also lowers the risk of contraceptive failure

    Demeclocycline

    Use alternative drugs because the use of demeclocycline decreases the effect of dicloxacillin by pharmacodynamic antagonism

    Aspirin

    Mestranol
