    Efren tablet contains Efavirenz 600mg. Efren (Efavirenz (600mg)) tablet is an antiviral medicine used in the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) – 1 infection. Efren tablet is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. Efavirenz works by reducing the viral load of HIV in your body. Efren tablet improves your immune system and reduces the risk of conditions associated with HIV infection. Efavirenz is used in combination with other antivirals for efficiency.

    Efren (Efavirenz (600mg)) tablet is used to treat adults and children above 3 month of age or if weight is more than 3.5Kg who are infected by HIV-1. Efren tablet must be taken in combination with other anti-HIV medicines like ritonavir. Your doctor will discuss which combination of medicines is best for you.

Efren tablet non-competently inhibits the action of reverse transcriptase enzyme of HIV-1 particle. Thus, the multiplication process of Efavirenz is blocked and infectious viral load is reduced which in turn will increase CD4+ levels in the body providing immunity to fight against other infections and cancers.

    Efren (Efavirenz (600mg)) tablet is an HIV-1 non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor.     How to Take Efren 600mg Tablet

    Efren (Efavirenz (600mg)) tablet is taken orally at an empty stomach.

    Efren tablet must be taken at the same time once a day as prescribed by your physician.
