Medical Description of Egsure 1mg Tablet
Egsure 1mg Tablet contains Anastrozole it’s an aromatase inhibitor. It shrinks and stops the progression of abnormal cancer cells. Egsure 1mg Tablet is used in the treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women. This medication can be used to treat breast cancer in males when treated with tamoxifen.
Egsure 1mg Tablet Uses
Anastrozole acts on breast cells that are stimulated by estrogen receptors causing cancer. Egsure 1mg Tablet is used in the treatment of breast cancer specially in postmenopausal women. This tablet is not used in children.

In postmenopausal women, estrogen is derived from an aromatase enzyme that converts adrenal androgens to estrone and estradiol. Anastrozole is a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor that reduces serum estrogen and its derivatives levels thus signalling processes for the proliferation of abnormal cells is inhibited. Anastrozole shrinks the abnormal cells and minimises metastasis thus treats and controls cancers or tumors.

How to Take Egsure 1mg Tablet
This tablet is taken orally.
This tablet must be taken at the same time once a day as prescribed by your physician.
