Medical Description of H2 Check 40mg Tablet
H2 Check 40mg Tablet contains Pantoprazole 40mg. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitors (PPIs), an anti-ulcer agent used to treat to stomach, and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Erosive Esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It decreases stomach acid secretion. It relieves ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection, used in combination with antibiotics like amoxicillin, or clarithromycin, and metronidazole, or tinidazole. Furthermore, it is used to treats stress ulcers and acid secretion during the intake of painkillers (NSAIDs).
This medicine is contraindicated to allergic symptoms such as skin rashes, itching, swelling, breathing difficulties, etc, liver dysfunction, vitamin, and mineral deficiency.

H2 Check 40mg Tablet is used in the treatment of the following conditions as Erosive esophagitis, Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Helicobacter pylori infection, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and Gastro- duodenal ulcers.
Pantoprazole can also prescribe with the combination of antibiotics (amoxicillin, or clarithromycin), and metronidazole, or tinidazole to treat H. Pylori infection. Also used to treat stress ulcers, arises due to intake of NSAIDs. The course of this medicine is up to 8 weeks, infections not suppress, increase the course for more than 8 weeks in some cases. But, children should not be given more than 8 weeks. Swallow the whole tablet at once. Don’t break, chewed, or crushed the tablet.
Mechanism of action of H2 Check 40mg Tablet
H2 Check 40mg Tablet contains Pantoprazole 40mg. Pantoprazole acts on the final step of gastric acid secretion; it blocks the acid releasing gastric parietal cells of the stomach. A parietal cell of the stomach contains H+/K+ ATP Pumps, which helps in acid secretion and then inhibits acid production by blocking these H+K+ ATP pumps. This action will last up to 24 hours, in between; more pumps will be produced by the stomach, which indicates then
