Instgra 50mg Tablet contains an active substance called dolutegravir. Dolutegravir is an antiretroviral medicine used in the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)-1 infection. Dolutegravir is an integrase strand transfer inhibitor. Dolutegravir is used only on people above 40kgs or in children above age 12. It is always used in combination with other antiretroviral medications. Dolutegravir doesn’t cure HIV infection it only reduces the rate of viral load multiplication thus helps manage the illness.

Instgra 50mg Tablet is an antiretroviral belonging to the family of integrase strand transfer inhibitor which is used to treat HIV – 1 infection in children above 12 years of age and adults. Dolutegravir is always used in combination with other antiretroviral medications. While using Dolutegravir sometimes causes resistance thus caution is required and follow up blood works are required to support continuous use of this medication.

Uncommon side effects that occur 1:100 patients: hepatitis, suicidal thoughts and behaviours, joint and muscle pain

Rare side effects that occur 1:1000 patients: osteonecrosis

No, this drug has shown evidence of neural tube defects in fetus. Thus, consult your physician.

• After therapy has been initiated, do not take more or less of this drug than prescribed or stop taking it without your physicians’ approval. Instgra 50mg Tablet has only been used in few patients 60 years or older. Dosage and usage are similar to adults. Discuss with your physician before usage.
