    Lyphidox 10mg Injection contains Doxorubicin 10mg used to treat any type of cancer of the blood, ovaries, lungs, and soft tissue. It works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of cancer cells by suppressing the enzyme which is involved in the DNA multiplication of cancer cells. It is used alone or with other medication as chemotherapy

    Drug Interaction of Lyphidox 10mg Injection

    Drug-Drug Interaction

    Chloramphenicol

    Use alternative drugs because the use of chloramphenicol will increase the effect of doxorubicin by affecting its hepatic and intestinal enzyme metabolism.

    Deferiprone

    Use alternative drug because the combination of this medicine either increases the toxicity of the other by pharmacodynamic synergism

    Amiodarone

    Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of amiodarone will increase the effect of doxorubicin by P-glycoprotein efflux transporter

    Cyclophosphamide

    Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of doxorubicin increases the toxicity of the cyclophosphamide by unspecified interaction mechanism and it also increases the risk for developing hemorrhagic cystitis

    Digoxin

    Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of doxorubicin decrease the effect of digoxin by inhibiting GI absorption

    Paclitaxel

    Cardiomyopathy

    Hepatic dysfunction
