Medical Description of Manso 30mg Capsule
Manso 30mg Capsule contains Lansoprazole 30mg. Lansoprazole is a proton pump inhibitors (PPIs),it is an anti-ulcer agents used to treat the stomach, duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Erosive Esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It decreases the stomach acid secretion & relieves ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection. It is used in the combination with antibiotics like amoxicillin, or clarithromycin, and a metronidazole, or tinidazole; acid related to dyspepsia, and active benign gastric ulcers. Furthermore, it is used to treat the stress ulcers and acid secretion during the intake of painkillers (NSAIDs).
This medicine is contraindicated to allergic symptoms such as skin rashes, itching, swelling, breathing difficulties, etc, liver dysfunction, vitamin, and mineral deficiency.

Mechanism of action of Manso 30mg Capsule
Lansoprazole acts on the final step of gastric acid secretion; it blocks the acid-releasing gastric parietal cell of the stomach. A parietal cell of the stomach contains H+/K+ ATP Pumps, which help in acid secretion and then inhibit acid production by blocking these H+K+ ATP pumps. This action will last up to 24 hours, in between, more pumps will be produced by the stomach, which indicates the need to take the next dose to prevent acid production in the stomach
