    Meflotas 250mg Tablet contains Mefloquine (250mg) used to treat parasitic infections such as Malaria. Mefloquine is an antimalarial drug that results in interacting with certain substances which are required for the malarial parasitic cells present in our blood for their vital functions. It is usually effective against plasmodium vivax, and Plasmodium ovale strains of malarial parasites and it is also used to treat the infections caused by chloroquine-resistant strains of malarial parasites. It produces its action by killing the parasite that causes infection and also helps to prevent the infections.

    BCG vaccine live

    The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of medicine decreases the effect of the BCG vaccine live by pharmacodynamic antagonism

    Lefamulin

    The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of lefamulin will increase the effect of Mefloquine by affecting its hepatic and intestinal enzyme metabolism.

    Afatinib

    Use alternative drug because the use of mefloquine increases the effect of afatinib by P-glycoprotein efflux transporter

    Apomorphine

    Use alternative drug because the combination of this drug increases the QTc interval

    Dapsone

    Use alternative drug because the use of mefloquine increases the toxicity of the dapsone by unspecified interaction mechanism and it also increases the risk for developing hemolytic reactions
