Medical Description of Miliclav Tablet
Miliclav Tablet contains Amoxicillin (500 mg), Lactobacillus (60 million spores) and Clavulanic Acid (125mg) used to treat conditions like a bacterial infection, urinary tract infection, sinus infection, bone and joint infections, respiratory tract infections. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infection which mainly targets the lungs, ear, nasal sinus, urinary tract, and skin infections. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that decreases resistance. Lactobacillus is an antidiarrheals/probiotic works by restoring the good bacteria that is killed due to the use of antibiotics. The combination of this medicine helps to fight against the infection that is caused by bacteria. This is not effective against viral infections like the common cold. Swallow the whole tablet at once. Don’t break, chew, or crush the tablet

How to Take Miliclav Tablet

Diabetes:
The use of this drug may produce false-positive reactions when you are testing for glucose levels in your urine. So, it is recommended to do the glucose test by the enzymatic glucose oxidase reaction
Renal dysfunction:
The serum concentration of beta-lactam antibiotics increases the half-life in a patient with impaired renal functions. Depending upon your renal function dose should be adjusted
Hemodialysis:
During Hemodialysis penicillin antibiotics get removed from the body. So doses should be rescheduled after the dialysis process
Mononucleosis:
Amoxicillin should not be used in patients with mononucleosis because they develop pruritic erythematous maculopapular skin rash which occurs after 5-10 days of therapy
Over Dose

Missed Dose
