    Medical Description of Moxlox Capsule

    Moxlox Capsule contains Amoxicillin 250mg and Cloxacillin 250mg used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infection, sinus infection, bone and joint infections, respiratory tract infections. Mainly this medicine targets the throat ear, lungs sinus, urinary tract, teeth skin, joints, teeth, and bones. Amoxicillin is effective against both gram+ve organisms and some gram-ve pathogens. Cloxacillin is a well-known β-lactamase resistant drug of penicillin group drugs active against gram+ve bacterias. The combination of this medicine helps to fight against the infection that is caused by bacteria and it is effective against Staph aureus, Strep pneumoniae, Strep viridans, and Strep pyogenes and also fights against gonococci and against N meningitidis and H influenzae which produces penicillinase. Swallow the whole capsule at once. Don’t break, chew, or crush the capsule

    How to Take Moxlox Capsule

    Demeclocycline

    Mycophenolate

    Use alternative drugs because the use of amoxicillin will decrease the effect of mycophenolate by other

    Diabetes:

    The use of this drug may produce false-positive reactions when you are testing for glucose levels in your urine. So, it is recommended to do the glucose test by the enzymatic glucose oxidase reaction

    Renal dysfunction:

    The serum concentration of beta-lactam antibiotics increases the half-life in a patient with impaired renal functions. Depending upon your renal function dose should be adjusted

    Hemodialysis:

    During Hemodialysis penicillin antibiotics get removed from the body. So doses should be rescheduled after the dialysis process

    Mononucleosis:

    Amoxicillin should not be used in patients with mononucleosis because they develop pruritic erythematous maculopapular skin rash which occurs after 5-10 days of therapy

     


    Over Dose
