Drug-Drug Interaction
Anthrax vaccine + Mycophenolate
Mycophenolate increases the effect of the anthrax vaccine by pharmacodynamic antagonism. Immunosuppressants increase the risk of infection in combination with live vaccines
Rabies vaccine + Mycophenolate
Mycophenolate decreases the effect of the rabies vaccine by pharmacodynamic antagonism. Immunosuppressants interfere in the development of immunity.
Allopurinol + Mycophenolate
The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of allopurinol increases the effect of mycophenolate by decreasing its metabolism. A combination of these drugs may increase the risk of bone marrow toxicity.
