Medical Description of Nintenib 100mg Capsule
Nintenib 100mg Capsule contains Nintedanib 100mg it is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Nintedanib inhibits metastasis, angiogenesis and oncogenesis of abnormal cancer cells and used in the treatment of lung disease like fibrosis and cancers. This medication is recommended only for adults.
Nintenib 100mg Capsule Uses
This capsule is used in treatment of lung cancer, Idopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and interstitial lung disease. It is not used in children.

Nintenib 100mg Capsule inhibits the progression of abnormal cells. It is used in treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and interstitial lung disease. This capsule is recommended only in adults.
Nintenib 100mg Capsule Indication
Nintedanib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It is an antineoplastic and antiangiogenic medication. It inhibits the multiplication or proliferation of abnormal cells by inhibiting endothelial growth factors. It must be used only in adults. This medication is recommended in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer which is locally advanced or metastatic or recurrent caused by adenocarcinoma. It is used in the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis with slowly decreasing pulmonary function. This capsule is used in the case of systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease with a decrease in pulmonary function.
Mechanism of action of Nintenib 100mg Capsule
Nintenib 100mg (Nintedanib 100mg) Capsule is an antineoplastic and an antiangiogenic agent. It is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It inhibits receptor tyrosine kinase and non-receptor tyrosine kinase. Receptor tyrosine kinase inhibits platelet-derived growth factor, fibroblast growth factor receptor, vascular endothelial growth factor receptor. It binds to ATP location in receptor thus blocks signalling activity that causes proliferation and migration of lung fibroblasts thus inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis. Nintenib 100mg Capsule also inhibits non-receptor tyrosine kinase that inhibits the SRC pathway thus reduces fibrosis in the lungs and improves the function of the lungs
How Nintenib 100mg Capsule works
This capsule is an antineoplastic, an antineoplastic and a tyrosine kinase inhibitor. It inhibits tyrosine kinase and non-tyrosine kinase receptors thus inhibit vasculature and decrease migration of fibroblasts. It inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis improving the function of the lungs.

How to Take Nintenib 100mg Capsule
Nintenib 100mg (Nintedanib 100mg) Capsule is taken orally. It must be taken at the same time as prescribed by your physician.
This capsule should be taken with food.
Don’t drink grape juice or eat grapes.
It must be swallowed as a whole. Don’t open or crush this capsule.
After therapy has been initiated, do not take more or less of this drug than prescribed or stop taking it without your physicians’ approval. Skipping or changing your dose without approval may cause adverse effects making the condition more difficult to treat, or worsen side effects.
Use of Nintenib 100mg Capsule in Adult
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding inform your physician as they are not advisable.
The recommended dosage in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is 100mg taken orally with food twice a day
The recommended dosage in Systemic Sclerosis-associated Interstitial Lung Disease is 100mg taken orally with food twice a day
Nintenib 100mg Capsule is used as an orphan drug in the case of mesothelioma
Dosage modification is done in the case of hepatotoxicity or renal toxicity or GI toxicity or cardiotoxicity occurs.

Nintenib 100mg Capsule is not recommended in children.

Nintenib 100mg Capsule has only been used in few patients 65 years or older. Dosage and usage are similar to adults. Discuss with your physician before usage.

General instructions
Nintenib 100mg Capsule is taken orally as prescribed dosage at the specific time regularly with food to avoid adverse effects. Do not take grape juice or eat grapes with this medication. Do not take medications that alter the PH of the stomach like PPI, H2 blockers and if you are taking them, it is best to take them either 1 hr before or 2 hrs after intake of food.

Drug-Food Interaction
Do not take grapes and grape juice while taking this medication. To avoid diarrhea, take small sips of sugar free drinks or take small amounts of meal or take spicy food with this medication. It should be taken either with food, if doubts arise kindly refer to your physician. It generally causes side effects thus it is advised not to be taken with alcohol. It is preferred to drive or operate heavy machinery with caution while taking this medication.
