    Norspan M 100mg/100mg Tablet contains Metronidazole 100mg and Norfloxacin 100mg used to treat parasitic infections such as Diarrhoea and Dysentery. Norfloxacin 100mg is an antibiotic that helps to inhibit the growth of infection. Mainly this bacterial infection targets the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs. Metronidazole 100mg is antihelmintic which kills the parasites and anaerobic bacteria. This combination of medicine helps to kill microorganisms.

It should be a risk in patients of more than 60 years of age or undergone a transplant of kidney, heart, or lung. If necessary, then needs dose adjustment or replacement

                 Diarrhea

    Aluminum hydroxide

    Use alternative drugs because the use of aluminum hydroxide decreases the effect of norfloxacin by inhibiting the GI absorption

    Escitalopram

    Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of escitalopram increase the toxicity of norfloxacin by QTc interval

    Estradiol

    Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of norfloxacin decreases the effect of estradiol by altering the intestinal flora and it also lowers the risk of contraceptive failure.

    Anti-diabetic drug

    Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of norfloxacin increases the effect of glimepiride by pharmacodynamic synergism.

    Haloperidol
