Drug-Drug Interaction
Dronedarone + Nortriptyline
Dronedarone will increase the effect of nortriptyline by affecting the patient's hepatic enzyme metabolism. The use of this drug is contraindicated because it increases the risk of ventricular tachycardia
Albuterol + Nortriptyline
The use of this drug may increase or decrease the effect of sympathomimetics by inhibiting the uptake of sympathomimetics into the adrenergic neuron
Citalopram + Nortriptyline
A combination of these drugs increases serotonin levels. Use alternative drugs because citalopram increases the risk of serotonin syndrome and OT prolongation. Closely monitor the patient's ECG
Benazepril + Pregabalin
Coadministration increases the risk of developing angioedema of the face, mouth, and neck. Angioedema may result in respiratory compromise.

Tricyclic anti-depressants should be administered with caution in a patient with anticholinergic activity such as urinary retention, angle-closure glaucoma, untreated intraocular hypertension, and gastrointestinal obstructive disorders.
Cardiovascular diseases + Nortriptyline
During the initiation of the therapy tricyclic antidepressants may cause orthostatic hypotension, reflux tachycardia, syncope, and dizziness. Therapy should not be administered with caution in patients during the acute recovery phase following myocardial infarction, hyperthyroidism, or a history of cardiovascular disease. Closely monitor the patient's ECG levels.
Bone marrow suppression+ Nortriptyline
Therapy should be administered with caution in a patient with bone marrow suppression because the use of tricyclic anti-depressants may increase the risk of bone marrow suppression, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, anemia, eosinophilia
Bipolar disorder + Nortriptyline
Therapy should be administered with caution in a patient with bipolar disorder because the use of tricyclic anti-depressants may precipitate the symptoms of psychosis in bipolar disorder patients
Renal/Liver disease + Nortriptyline
Therapy should be administered with caution in a patient with renal and hepatic function because there is limited information available regarding the use of tricyclic anti-depressants in a patient with renal and hepatic impairment.
Angioedema + Pregabalin
Therapy should be administered with caution in a patient with angioedema because the use of pregabalin may increase the risk of developing angioedema
Creatinine Kinase Elevations + Pregabalin
Therapy should be administered with caution in a patient with elevated creatine kinase levels because the use of pregabalin may be associated with creatine kinase elevations
Peripheral edema + Pregabalin
The use of pregabalin is contraindicated in patients with congestive heart failure because the use of pregabalin may increase the risk of peripheral edema
