Nupenta LS contains Pantoprazole 40mg and Levosulpiride 75mg used to treat conditions like Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor, and anti-ulcer agent used to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn in the stomach. Levosulpiride is a prokinetic that helps in the movement of food from the stomach to the intestine by producing a chemical messenger called acetylcholine. This combination softens the stools and decreases the acid secretion from the stomach. Swallow the whole capsule at once. Don’t break, chew, or crush the capsule

It is used in the treatment of the following conditions as Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and Irritable bowel syndrome.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)

GERD occurs due to stomach acid frequently flows backwards direction from stomach to the esophagus, leads to develop heartburn, and acid indigestion. Drug-Drug Interaction

Ketoconazole

Ketoconazole used in the treatment fungal infection as an anti-fungal agent.

This combinational medicine along with the ketoconazole reduces the stomach acid and decreases the absorption of ketoconazole in the body and reduces the blood levels of ketoconazole in the blood levels. Because of this antifungal effect will be reduced.

Methotrexate

Methotrexate along with this combinational medicine may increase the blood levels and side effects of methotrexate. So dose adjustment is needed kindly consult with your doctor.

Atazanavir

This combinational medicine by decreasing the stomach acid levels, pantoprazole may decrease the absorption and reduces the blood levels of atazanavir. Because of this, the medication becomes less effective against HIV.

Erythromycin                      

Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections. This medicine alters the action of erythromycin. Kindly consult with your doctor.

Tramadol

Nelfinavir

Heart problems
