Pantodac-IT is a combinational medicine containing pantoprazole 40mg and Itopride 150mg. This combinational medicine is used in the treatment of Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Peptic ulcer disease. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor and anti-ulcer agent that reduces acid secretion in the stomach. Itopride is the prokinetic that works on the upper digestive tract and allows the food to pass through the stomach easily.

Mechanism of action of Pantodac-IT Capsule SR
Pantodac-IT capsule produces the effects of dopaminergic receptors without causing any release of dopamine. Itopride decreases bowel movement and facilitates gastric emptying. Pantoprazole blocks the acid releasing gastric parietal cell of the stomach. A parietal cell of the stomach contains H+/K+ ATP Pumps which helps in acid secretion. Pantoprazole inhibits acid production by blocking these H+K+ ATP pumps, which results in the blocking of acid secretion.

How to Take Pantodac-IT Capsule SR
It should be taken on an empty stomach, at least one hour before the meal as prescribed by the doctor. Take this medicine at a regular interval of time. Ketoconazole

Methotrexate
