Papcef AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet contain Cefpodoxime Proxetil 200mg and Azithromycin 250mg used to treat bacterial infections such as Urinary tract infections, Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis, Bronchitis, and Gonorrhea. Papcef AZ 200mg/250mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat infections and it mainly targets the ear, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract bacterial infection. Azithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic that works by inhibiting the cell wall synthesis of protein. The combination of this medicine helps to fight against the microbes and also prevents the growth o bacteria. This medicine is not used for common flu and cold symptoms that occur due to viral infections. This medicine is commonly prescribed for cough and colds caused by bacterial infections. Swallow the whole tablet at once. Don’t break, chew, or crush the tablet

BCG vaccine live
The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of Cefpodoxime decreases the effect of the BCG vaccine live by pharmacodynamic antagonism
Argatroban
Use alternative drugs because the use of cefpodoxime will increase the effect of argatroban by anticoagulation
Aluminum hydroxide
Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of aluminum hydroxide will decrease the effect of cefpodoxime by increasing its gastric pH.
Doxycycline
Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of Doxycycline decreases the effect of Cefpodoxime by pharmacodynamic antagonism

Seizure disorders:
Therapy should be administered with caution in patients who have a history of epilepsy because the use of this drug may stimulate seizure and it also cause encephalopathy, coma, asterixis, neuromuscular excitability, and myoclonia
