    Medical Description of Rabifast 20mg Tablet

    Rabifast 20mg Tablet contains Rabeprazole 20mg. Rabifast 20mg (Rabeprazole (20mg)) Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), an anti-ulcer agent used to treat stomach, and duodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Erosive Esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Rabifast 20mg Tablet decreases stomach acid secretion. Rabifast 20mg Tablet relieves ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection, used in combination with antibiotics like amoxicillin, or clarithromycin, and metronidazole, or tinidazole. Furthermore, Rabifast 20mg Tablet is used to treats stress ulcers and acid secretion during the intake of painkillers (NSAIDs). This medicine contains faster acid suppression from the stomach, compared to the other proton pump inhibitors.

    Rabifast 20mg Tablet is contraindicated to allergic symptoms such as skin rashes, itching, swelling, breathing difficulties, etc, liver dysfunction, vitamin, and mineral deficiency.

    Rabifast 20mg Tablet contains Rabeprazole 20mg. Rabeprazole acts on the final step of gastric acid secretion; it blocks the acid releasing gastric parietal cell of the stomach. A parietal cell of the stomach contains H+/K+ ATP Pumps, which helps in acid secretion and then inhibits acid production by blocking these H+K+ ATP pumps.
