Ratio D 50mg/10mg Tablet contains Diclofenac 50mg and Serratiopeptidase 10mg is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication. It produces its action by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX-1) and (COX-2). Thus it inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins which is responsible for pain and inflammation. It also inhibits the aggregation and activation of neutrophil and chemotaxis, decreases the proinflammatory cytokine level, and alter the activity of lymphocyte.
Serratiopeptidase is an enzyme that produces its action by breaking the abnormal proteins at the site of inflammation and it also promotes healing.
