Ritomax Tablet contains Ritonavir 100mg. Ritomax (Ritonavir (100mg)) tablet is a protease inhibitor that interferes with the reproductive cycle of HIV thus used to control HIV infection. Ritomax tablet is a potent CYP3A inhibitor that increases plasma medicine concentrations of other protease inhibitors thus mostly used in combination with other antivirals to control and treat HIV-1 infection. Ritomax tablet is used as a booster in the treatment of HCV infections. Ritomax tablet is recommended booster for first-line therapy for HCV Genotype 1a/b and 4 treatment-naïve patients with or without cirrhosis. Ritomax tablet is used by children above 2 years of age.
