Ropenam contains Meropenam (1000mg) used to treat conditions infections such as Bacterial meningitis, Pneumonia, Skin, and skin structure infections, and Intra-abdominal infections. Mainly this infection affects the lungs, skin, and skin structures, abdomen, and brain. Ropenam is an antibiotic that kills the bacteria that cause infections. This medicine is not used for common flu and cold symptoms that occur due to viral infections. This medicine is commonly prescribed for cough and colds caused by bacterial and parasitic infections.

It is used in the treatment of the following conditions as Bacterial meningitis, Pneumonia, Skin, and skin structure infections and Intra-abdominal infections.

Drug-Drug Interaction

BCG vaccine live

The use of this medicine is contraindicated because the use of medicine decreases the effect of the BCG vaccine live by pharmacodynamic antagonism.

Cholera vaccine

Use alternative medicine, because the use of the cholera vaccine with antibiotics may activate the vaccine strain. So, avoid receiving this combination of medicines before 14 days of vaccination.

Estradiol:

Therapy should be administered with caution because the use of meropenem will decrease the effect of estradiol by altering the intestinal flora and it also lowers the risk of contraceptive failure.

Probenecid
