Satrogyl 300mg Tablet contain Satranidazole 300mg used to treat both bacterial and parasitic infections, Giardiasis. Mainly this medicine targets infection of the liver, stomach, intestines, vagina, brain, heart, lungs, and skin. Satranidazole is a Nitroimidazole derivative Antibacterial and Antiprotozoal drug which kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria. Swallow the whole tablet at once. Don’t break, chew, or crush the tablet.

The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of Satranidazole increases the toxicity of dronabinol by inhibiting aldehyde dehydrogenase

Flibanserin

The use of this drug is contraindicated because the use of Satranidazole will increase the effect of flibanserin by affecting its hepatic and intestinal enzyme metabolism

Mebendazole

Use alternative drug because the use of mebendazole increase the toxicity of Satranidazole by increasing the risk of developing toxic epidermal necrolysis

Warfarin

 Use alternative drugs because the use of Satranidazole increases the effect of warfarin by decreasing its metabolism

Drug-Food Interaction

The use of alcohol with Satranidazole may produce some disulfiram reactions such as flushing, throbbing in the head and neck, difficulty breathing, nausea, vomiting, sweating, thirst, chest pain, rapid heartbeat, lightheadedness, blurred vision, and confusion.

Neurologic toxicity
