Secnil 500mg Injection contains Secnidazole 500mg used to treat both bacterial and parasitic infections such as Amoebiasis, Trichomoniasis, Bacterial vaginosis, and Giardiasis. Mainly this medicine targets infection of the liver, stomach, intestines, vagina, brain, heart, lungs, and skin. Secnidazole 500mg is antihelmintic which kills the parasites and anaerobic bacteria. It is also used to prevent the infection that occurs after surgery and it is used to treat dental infections, leg ulcers, and pressure sores.

It is used in the treatment of the following conditions as bacterial and protozoal infections such as Amoebiasis, Trichomoniasis, Bacterial vaginosis, and Giardiasis.

Bacterial infections

Bacterial infection occurs when bacteria enter your body and start multiplying which may cause tissue damage and make you sick. Mostly it is caused by Staphylococcus and Streptococcus organisms.
