Mainly this bacterial infection targets the lungs (pneumonia, bronchitis), urinary tract, ear, and abdomen infection. Sulfamethoxazole, Trimethoprim is a Sulfonamide, Antibiotic that produces its action by preventing bacterial growth and helps to cure the infection. How to Take Septran Paediatric Tablet

BCG vaccine live
The use of this medicine is contraindicated because the use of trimethoprim decreases the effect of the BCG vaccine live by pharmacodynamic antagonism
Abametapir
Use alternative drugs because the use of abametapir will increase the effect of trimetho[rim by affecting its hepatic and intestinal enzyme metabolism.
Amiodarone
Use alternative drug because the combination of this drug increases the QTc interval
Antithrombin 111
Use alternative drugs because the use of sulfamethoxazole increases the effect of antithrombin 111 by plasma protein binding competition.
Benazepril

Liver diseases
Therapy should be administered with caution in patients with hepatic impairment because the use of sulfonamides may cause hepatotoxicity including jaundice, diffuse hepatocellular necrosis, hepatitis, and hepatic failure
Urinary obstruction
Therapy should be administered with caution in patients with urinary obstruction because the use of sulfonamides `increase the risk for developing renal toxicity such as uro and nephrolithiasis, nephritis, toxic nephrosis, hematuria, proteinuria, and elevated BUN and creatinine
Crystalluria
Using this medicine develops Crystalluria (precipitation of this drug occurs in the urinary tract), which leads to cloudy urine. Drink more liquids adequately to avoid this condition.
Over Dose

Missed Dose
