Tenof Tablet contains Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 300mg. Tenof (Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 300mg) tablet is an antiviral medicine used in the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)-1 infection. Tenof (Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 300 mg) is a nucleoside analogue. Tenof tablet acts on HIV reverse transcriptase thus interfere with their reproduction cycle.

Tenof (Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate 300mg) tablet is used to treat adults and adolescence above 18 years of age who are infected by HIV. Tenof tablet is used in caution with liver and renal impairment patients.

Uncommon side effects that occur 1:100 patients: Neutropenia and anaemia,thrombocytopenia, hypokalaemia, proximal renal tubulopathy 

Rare side effects that occur 1:1,000 patients: Pancreatitis, Hepatitis, Angioedema, hepatic steatosis, osteomalacia, acute renal failure, renal failure, acute tubular necrosis, nephritis 2, nephrogenic diabetes insipidus,  

Very rare side effects that occur 1:10,000 patients: Pure red cell aplasia, Lactic acidosis, Peripheral neuropathy, Rhabdomyolysis

You can take the missed dosage if you notice within 12 hours if you take them once a day. If it is more than 12 hours, then skip the dosage and take the next doses as usual. Don’t take a double dose for a forgotten dose.
