How to Take Tfct-Nib Tablet
Tfct-Nib (Tofacitinib (5mg)) tablet is taken orally by mouth twice daily with or without food. The extended-release tablet is usually taken once daily with or without food. Do not chew, crush or break the tablet. Follow the direction mentioned in the label if you did not understand the application kindly ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain the details. Do not discontinue the medicine when you feel better kindly consult with your doctor. Tofacitinib controls the condition but does not cure it.

Viral reactivation:
The use of Tfct-Nib tablet has been associated with viral reactivation including herpes viral reactivation. Before initiating the therapy it is recommended to screen for the reoccurrence of viral hepatitis.
GI perforation:
Therapy should be administered with caution in patients with an increased risk of gastrointestinal perforation. Patients who are with new onset of abdominal symptoms should be evaluated for early identification of gastrointestinal perforation.
Hepatic disorder:
Tfct-Nib tablet has not been studied in a patient with severe hepatic impairment and the use of tofacitinib has been associated with an increased risk of liver enzyme elevation. So it is recommended in patients with hepatic impairment. Routine monitoring of liver function tests is recommended.
Infections:
Serious bacterial, mycobacterial, invasive fungal, viral and other opportunistic infections have been reported in patients who are all receiving tofacitinib. Before initiating the treatment it is recommended to avoid the use of tofacitinib in patients with an active and serious infection. Closely monitor the patient for the development of signs and symptoms of infection during and after treatment.
Renal disease:
Patients with moderate and severe renal impairment had greater tofacitinib blood levels so the recommended dose of tofacitinib is 5 mg once daily. No dose adjustment of tofacitinib is necessary for patients with mild renal impairment.
Over Dose
Consuming more tablets than the prescribed dose may lead to overdose. Kindly use the medicine as per your doctor advice
