    Drug Interaction of Vingraf 0.25 Capsule

    Drug-Drug Interaction

    Anthrax vaccine + Tacrolimus

    Tacrolimus decreases the effect of the anthrax vaccine by pharmacodynamic antagonism. Immunosuppressants increase the risk of infection in combination with live vaccines

    Adalimumab + Tacrolimus

    The combination of this drug increases the effect of immunosuppressive effect and also increases the risk of infection. Use alternative drug

    Amikacin + Tacrolimus

    Combination of this drug increase nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity. Use alternative drug

    Bosutinib + Tacrolimus

    Tacrolimus increases the effect of bosutinib by P-glycoprotein efflux transporter. Use alternative drug

    Drug-Food Interaction

    The use of grapefruit can increase the effect of Tacrolimus and increase the side effect on the kidney, liver, and nervous systems. Consult with your doctor if you have the following symptoms such as fever, rash, nausea, vomiting, dark urine, and jaundice.

    Drug-Disease Interaction

    Diabetes Mellitus:

    Tacrolimus induces post-transplant insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. Therapy with tacrolimus should be administered with caution in a patient who is having pre-transplant diabetes mellitus.

    Hepatic dysfunction:

    Tacrolimus metabolised in liver. The patient who is having moderate and severe hepatic impairment may alter the metabolic activity of tacrolimus and increase the tacrolimus concentration in the blood. Therapy with tacrolimus should be administered with caution in a patient with hepatic impairment.

    Renal dysfunction:

    Therapy with tacrolimus should be administered with caution in a patient with renal impairment because oliguria and hematuria were reported.


    Over Dose

    Take the medicine as directed by the doctor don’t overdose on the medicine. If you have taken an overdose on this medicine immediately meet the doctor and rush to the nearby hospital.


    Missed Dose

    Take the medicine as directed by the doctor. Do not skip the medicine, if you forgot to take the medicine or missed the dose.
