Virol tablet contains Abacavir 300mg. Virol (Abacavir (300mg)) tablet is an antiviral medicine used in the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)-1 infection. Virol tablet is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. Virol tablet works by acting on reverse transcriptase which is required for HIV active particles multiplication process thus reduces viral load of HIV in your body. Virol tablet is used in combination with other antiviral HIV medications.

Virol (Abacavir (300mg)) tablet is used to treat adults and children above 3month of age who are infected by HIV. Virol tablet must be taken in combination with other anti-HIV medicines. Your doctor will discuss which combination of medicines is best for you.

How to Take Virol 300mg Tablet
Virol (Abacavir (300mg)) tablet is taken orally with or without food.
Virol tablet should be taken at a specific time
Don’t chew or break the tablet.
Swallow Virol tablet as whole.
Virol tablet must be taken with other antivirals.
After therapy has been initiated, do not take more or less of Virol than prescribed or stop taking it without your physicians’ approval.
