Virostav capsule contains Stavudine 30mg. Virostav (Stavudine (30mg)) capsule is an antiviral medicine used in the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)-1 infection. Virostav capsule is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. Virostav capsule works by acting on reverse transcriptase which is required for HIV active particles multiplication process thus reduces viral load of HIV in your body. Virostav capsule is used in combination with other antiviral HIV medications.

Mechanism of action of Virostav 30mg Capsule
Virostav capsule contains Stavudine 30mg. Stavudine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor is phosphorylated into stavudine -5- triphosphate. Stavudine-5-triphosphate battle with deoxythymidine triphosphate and incorporate themselves into the DNA of HIV molecular structure.
